9XR Pro feature shortcomings

Why does the 9xr Pro not have sliders and multiple three position switches? I have had all versions of popular R/C vehicles, but my focus now is on quad/hexacopters. Using the Naza M v2 with a gimbal, I absolutely have to have multiple three position switches to control all flight modes and my gimbal. I would buy a 9XR Pro in a heartbeat, but as it is I am seriously considering purchasing the Taranis simply because it has the controls that I need. Surely it cannot add that much more to the cost of the radio to add comparable switches to give it the same functionality as its number one competitor - the Taranis. Please consider these additions and let me know what the outcome is. I would wait for an updated version if I know it is coming.
