plane stabilisation

oki thank you....a technical queston on the rx3sm.....I'm a beginer and have set this rx up allsurfaces move in the right direction. with the A E R on full clockwise everything twitches and at anything from dial at 12 midday anti clock there is hardly any compensatioin movement....if the gain dials were a clock where or what time is best to help a beginer its is mounted in a cessna 182 foamy 1400mm span.
