450 size quadcopter build

I already have the 450 alien frame. What motors, esc, and control board would you recommend to have a GPS assisted quad for flying? I'm not interested in any camera work at this point. I want to build it myself (I'm a good electrician and mechanic) and need all the necessary parts. I'm not a great computer wiz, so an "on board" control board sure sounds good. What parts would you recommend? Thanks. John Mullen
