TURNIGY 9XR Pro

Hello. May I ask whether it is possible to turn on the radio TURNIGY 9XR For without plugging the module?
In the manual from the internet I learned that XJT FrSky Modules with JR connectors are compatible for radio 9XR Pro. But I'm not there to insert. What to do, or is it some manual image ?.
