Very, very easy to buy and pay for items immediately on HK web page, if and when you have a warranty or request support, you are sent on convoluted and very difficult to navigate, drawn out links to nowhere.
All this is done totally on purpose to make you give up your complaint due to total frustration.
This is not to mention the long, drawn out idiotic requests back from HK.
I had a camera with reviewed wrong color coding, it naturally shorted out.
I sent five large photo files of the shorted, melted wiring along with the attached warranty claim after much wasted time navigating the complicated web return page. I WAS THEN REQUESTED TO SEND DOWN A VIDEO OF THE CAMERA. This is the attempt to make you just give up.
THEY don't give up getting your immediate payment though.
And while i'm on a roll, then having to pay increased prices down here in Oz against US $ ..... then charged US$ on top of this + plus your PayPal exchange rate difference.
HK goods are cheaper than most other online hobby stores ... but with the bald faced rip of and somewhat inferior quality of goods that requires warranty, this, along with their totally drawn out attempt at avoidance of their obligations makes me start to look elsewhere.
Not at all responsible business practice HK.

if people have problems with hobbyking just go straight to paypal and put a claim in and you will get your money fast , paypal is good like that and hobbyking hates that fact, as for cheap products are you kidding its the biggest rip off online look around a bit more theres better places to buy and much cheaper with free post, theres even wholesalers that will appreciate your business then your paying near what hoobyrort pays

You need to be registered first on the website to see commentaries... Of course, when you read the post from customers this would deter from buying on HobbyKing. There is definitely poor customer support between the shipment services and hobbyking...
