sawpping turnigy i10 from mode 1 to mode 2... and

so can anyone tell me jjust how easy it is to swap the gimbal springs around from mode 1 to 2?

ive had a turnigy i10 transmitter (mode 2) on 'back order' since the 7th of march and would like to get this item soon, but i really doubt they will get in stock anytime soon.

is there an easy way to swp items? or is it easier just to cancel the order then rebuy the mode 1 transmitter instead?
