powering a fieldview monitor with a 3S lipo

Hello,

I have a fieldview monitor and want to power it with a 3S lipo ( zippy compact 4500)When I connect it and push the powerbuttun on the monitor it doesn't power on.Also when I connect a normal dc 12V source to it , it doesn't power on....please help.
