EXTRA CHARGES!!!

I have just received and email stating that my parcel will not be delivered to me until I pay an extra €50 tax on top of the already extraordinarily high postage and packaging fees. I am not a happy camper at all with this situation, I have looked through your FAQ and it does state that extra charges my apply but why is this not explicitly stated when ORDERING that this could happen? A plane that cost just over €100 is now costing me over €230. This is shambolic.
