Faulty Receiver issu

I recently received delivery of a Turnigy TGY 9X Transmitter complete with receiver. I spent almost a week trying to get this receiver to bind with the transmitter only to discover that the receiver is faulty. I get the blinking red LED and press the button as recommended in the manual from a variety of sources on the internet. The transmitter binds with the transmitter shows that it is bound with the receiver (the blinking LED turns solid, no blinking) but if the receiver is moved or touched the solid red light starts to blink again or just turns off. How can you help me?
