Not sure if this helps, but being in the same position with a Y-Axis stepper burnout, I have found out the following:
TinyBoy specs call for a Hybrid Stepper of 28mm (HS28) with a phase current of 0.5A, and 1.8 degrees per step. For the most a standard two phase NEMA 11 stepper should do, but might be worth making sure it has a low current per phase.

I purchase the following: The spindle was a little long, but easy to trim to the right size.

However if you do not tune the current limiters you will just burn this one out as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRVJ3OrwKeA gives a video howto, or google and find more details on setting the current draw.
After setting up the current the motors ran perfectly, and cool even for long prints.
Thanks for the fast reply Paul, but isn't that motor longer than the original? It fits on the Z-Axis?
Thanks.
Yes it is longer, and it might need for your printer to be on legs (mine is for cooling) but I had to replace the Y-axis, and it fitted in ok. Maybe swap the motors around.
