Newsletter of Random Joining

So, I found my first newsletter from here on Oct 19, 2018. I ignored it since I never heard of it before and thought it would be a one off thing.

At some point I checked my spam folder and found a newsletter had come in on Oct 14th, 2018. Odd...

Then I checked my spam folder today (Oct 24, 2018) and found I just got a newsletter today.

Okay, let me go over this... I have a catch all email account, so I get basically everything. I check the 'to' field of all three newsletters and they were sent to a non-existent email address that I use for filtering purposes.

Here is what I want to know... how did you get my email address?

Did you buy an email list to seed the newsletter list?

Did you somehow dig up the email from somewhere and manually add it to the list?

Or, perhaps you found it in pre-2014 records and manually add it to the list without sending a 'would you like to sign up' or 'haven't heard from you in a while, check us out' type email?

Anyway, I just wanted to help your company out by letting you know that adding people to a newsletter list is a good way to get marked as spam. I didn't even flag your newsletter and it is automatically going to my spam - which means many others have flagged your newsletter as spam.
