shipping and charges

Have used Hobby King for a while but only ordered from their UK warehouse and everything has been fine. Recently ordered one item form Hong Kong and what a disaster. The item was ordered on 7th Jan 2020 and at the time of typing 25th Jan 2020 it still has not arrived. I also paid extra for priority 5-9 day delivery.

What is unbelievably bad is their customer service which is so poor and arrogant in that they wipe their hands of it and state they will have to wait 60 days for order to be cancelled. On top of this they don't make clear the customs charges are still to pay at the time of checkout so you are hit with a customs fee and a ridiculous handling fee by Royal Mail which makes what was a competitive price when ordering, actually more expensive than had I purchased locally in the first place.

The time and effort to cancel the order and the tone of their email responses has been ridiculous. I have cancelled the payment through my credit card company for as Hobbyking have failed to fulfill their contract with me and if product ever arrives it will be refused or left at local post office as I will not be paying the additional charges

Will never use Hobbyking again - they are a joke. Have closed my account
