I hope you already solved this, but when you hold the wing by itself, the servo leads are different length sticking out, the longer one is for the flaps, the shorter one is for the ailerons. the y-splitters have sticker tags (ch 2 and ch 5) ailerons usually go in channel 2 on the RX.
