Very unexpected shipping charge

Wooooa! I ordered a $6 item (Lipo battery) from Hobby King and could not access the right hand widget "Estimate cost of shipping" as I made my order.. I clicked it (tried a few times) and and just got an endless wait. Had to reload page and just order without knowing hoping the shipping cost (China to NZ) would be $5 or absolute max $10 as it is on the many items I have previously ordered at Aliexpress... Wow - it was $34 shipping cost (Aus to NZ) for the $6 item. Not impressed!
