Xcar 45a ESC wiring problems

I have 4 of these, Esc for Brushed motors. But they won't work, can't seem to program them. I may have found what could be the problem. See what you think. It seems that the actual wiring of the switch and receiver could be wrong - receiver actual wiring doesn't agree with the Instruction leaflet schematic.

In the photo the connections in the white connector block are from top: Bl to receiver, Red to receiver, Wh to receiver, Bl to switch, Red to switch
In the schematic, (not colour coded) from top to bottom: Switch A, Switch B, And the lower 3 wires to the receiver.

The lettering on the side of the receiver agrees with the photo. BUT, seeing as I have bought 4, and can't seem to program them, perhaps the schematic is right or is the rceiver wiring wrong? Who knows?

If you look at the schematic the top wires go to the switch - not the receiver. Compare with the photo.
