Orange tx6i - how to bind to Hobby king w SAFE. I want to disable SAFE.

Hi.  I have Tx6i that I'm trying to bind to a HobbyKing Sport Cub s.  this is the small one with SAFE.  When I bind, SAFE is automatically on, in the "beginner" mode.  I'm unable to disable.  There's instructions on how to bind a Spectrum Tx, but I can't seem to duplicate with the Orange.  Looking for where to find help.
