FollowUK Warehouse...How long can you survive?
I am 76 years old and have spent a considerable amount of money since UK Warehouse opened it's doors. Sadly, there seems to have been far too many errors made in packaging and despatch. HK must be spending a fortune in returned goods simply because some one is not doing their job properly...or is it the fault of the system that is being used.
I have recently paid £96 through Paypal for a Turnigy G110 motor and 80HV ESC. The shipping was excellent and very quick...as always, but my package contained 2 x 2200 & 1 x 2650 Lipo batteries and a Tarot Digital Pitch Gauge. So what went wrong?
Well the package contained no advice notice or paperwork to link my name and address with the list of items I had ordered so how does the packer of goods know that they are getting it right. Surely it is a simple and basic procedure to ship the goods which have been ordered by the customer.
I have taken HK advice and claimed via their RMA procedure and even added a photograph of the wrongly shipped items. I was told that it would not be necessary to send these back to the UK Warehouse for the moment or maybe not at all. Surely that is costly for HK.
All I can say to the Company Directors in China is for you to sort out these various world warehouses because they are going to ruin your business. Not because of the quality of the goods you are selling but because they must be employing people who are not capable of doing the job.
It would be a great shame for you to be offering model aircraft and accessories at very attractive prices only to have it trashed by your satellite branches who are using a system that doesn't work or worse still, A WORKFORCE THAT IS INCOMPETENT AND INCAPABLE OF PROVIDING AN ACCEPTABLE SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER.
I do hope some one will do something about this problem, otherwise I feel that HOBBY KING is doomed.

its been two months now and i;m still waiting for my back ordered item, would you like to wait or a refund says the cust support............NO I want the part i ordered.........(thunderbolt part)
I now equate Hobby Bitch service with "Obama Care"
You were fortunate to be able to contact the warehouse in the country you live in.
Try to contact HobbyKing Australia. No telephone number listed and HobbyKing customer service Head Office will not supply contact details.
I purchased else where very competitively and satisfied and I am a Platinum Customer with years of purchase history. HobbyKing may be HISTORY as well with this behaviour.
waiting for my order to be PACKED - backlog item became stocked more than 10 days ago - still waiting!!!!

I agree - I ordered some things yesterday at 1:46pm. All in stock. I had to pay for 'Next Day' delivery (because lets face it when the two options are next day or 48h and they cost the same why would you select 48h). Now I receive an email telling me that my order has been packed.
Any other company selling you next-day/24h delivery will ensure that the order is dispatched the same day so long as it's placed before 3/4pm. Companies like Amazon and EBuyer will even let you order up to 10pm at night and still have it with you the next day, and for free in a lot of cases.
HobbyKing's turnaround is frustratingly slow, it's really a terrible service. Either they are massively understaffed or everyone is sitting around playing with toys and drinking tea rather than doing their jobs.
Either way I agree with the original poster. HobbyKing are ultimately doomed if this level of service continues. They used to be the only people selling cheap hobby junk out of China - now there are many similar sites selling pretty much the same products. Who survives long term is going to come down to the quality of service.
