STILL waiting on package shipped June 24

Can someone PLEASE investigate the status of order 2009503056, tracking # RC007462095MY? It supposedly shipped from Malaysia on June 24th and showed a status of "posted over the counter" (whatever that means) on July 2nd. The USPS's tracking info still gives a status of "origin post is preparing shipment." I am seriously considering never ordering from Hobby King again. This is ridiculous.

I made order on 18-may-2014 and nothing arrived (23-aug-2014).
Is the second order shipped using Malaysin Pos and also the previous take more than 3 month to delivery.
I propose a petition from all of us against HK to eliminate Malaysian Pos as carrier.
Do you agree?

Well folks, I was doing a lot of business with HobbyKing, 50+ orders in 2014. HobbyKing has a very bad business model. I have two orders that are missing since May 29 and June 2. Here is how it goes down.

First HK is going to tell you that you have to wait 39 business days before they will do anything.( basically two months ) They don't seem to auto track your complaints because I had to contact them again after 50 days. They looked up my orders and told me they will now start a package search and that this tracking effort might take another two months. ( $150 in orders and no refund until I wait 4 months ) Then they wanted to refund my account! After complaining about that, I was told that they could, if I requested, refund it back because I used Paypal. Always use Paypal. Not only did they lose the cost of the ordered items and the potential profit from me; now they have lost all my future business. It would have made better business sense to simply refund my money after the first month or so and keep me as a customer.

I also contacted Malaysia POS and started a package track myself. What a joke! It took them 2 weeks to just answer my email contact. Then they asked for packaging information that my first email already contained. They sent me a pdf form that I needed to print out, fill out and electrically scan back into the computer and email back. My friends that is a lot of trouble for the average person to do. So, I emailed them most of the info that I had AGAIN! Since I was not the shipper, I did not have some of the info. One would think at the tracking number would be enough. Two weeks later I get a reply telling me without all of the requested info they don't think they can help, but they would try. Almost a month now and still nothing from HK or POS.

So, there you have it. A company that alienates and aggravates their customer base, a business model that don't want to return the money they collect and an expensive shipping company that can't find its ass. All well documented facts that repeatedly shows up here and all over the internet. Add that to the fact that every now and then you will have to eat an item that you received that just don't work. It's too costly to deal with replacement or refund. My fix is to shop In the USA. I have found companies that handle most, if not all, of the same products. They will cost a little more, but shipping is less expensive. The bonus is companies that are customer friendly and most will have a really good customer service department.

Bottom line, STOP BUYING FROM HOBBYKING!

Well, I placed an order on 6 May 2014. I write 2014 so we're clear which year we're talking about given the "delays" HobbyKing is experiencing

Never ordering from them again. Ever.

Despite the terms clearly stating how lost parcels are managed, they simply ignore the questions on the live chat and there is no number to call.

"Lost parcels.
We do not consider a parcel lost until after we have filed a missing parcel report with the Hong Kong Postmaster. We can do this after 45 days.
countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Brazil and South Africa usually have extended wait times due to customs. However this is not common.
Once we have filed a missing parcel report and we have a response (no later than 60 days) from your countries postal authority, we can then replace your parcel. We will confirm with you on your address during this process.
We do not refund or replace parcels that did not arrive because they were not picked up in time or sent back to us and lost in transit or have the incorrect address."

I am 100% happy to work to the terms and conditions but they blatantly ignore them. Writing this will not help at all as my order clearly isn't going to arrive. No postal service in the world takes over 3 months. A ship can sail around the entire world in 20 days!

So, basically, there is zero way of them declaring a parcel lost. So once you hit purchase, your money is lost - or maybe by some miracle your parcel arrives. Unprofessional beyong limits.

SHAME ON HOBBY KING. YOU ARE THIEVES.

I see that I'm not the only one who doesn't his items.

PLEASE raise a ticket on PayPall support if you used them to pay. They will take action even when the order date is longer then 45 days ago in case of more complains about the same company.

SO CONTACT PAYPALL!

I have logged a ticket with Paypal, but wasn't sure if they would action it as it is well over the 45 day limit. Difficult to log a ticket with Paypal within 45 days when HK take onths to not-deliver..

We can't refund your payment as you agree on our terms and condition at the checkout page. You can try to place an order again to see again our terms and condition. That's why I highly suggest you to check your local post and custom again.

Hi Indra,
you could raise a ticket with PayPall if you used them to pay. They will take action even after 45 days when they've received multiple complains about the same company

complaints about HK parcels must wait 45 days after ship date. Then you ca open a ticket in HK. After that you "have to" wait 60 days. I've reopended the first ticket of my complaint around 3 times. This last time and after one week they offer me a refund to my paypal account or in store bonus points. For your information i've choosed store bonus points, despite the bad costumer service of HK regarding this issue i still like HK.

I just received my order today which was sent on June 19 - so they do arrive eventually - Malaysia Post won't be my pick again!

this becomimh nonesense , i am wailting for three shippments one of them since May , this really ridiculous , and whenever i email hobby king they have a same answer " we will open an investigation and this will take 6-8 weeks" how stupid is that , i have to wait addition month and a half .......nonesense , your are right Elizabeth we need to consider a new site to order from .

Bonjour comme je le vois je ne suis pas tout seul à avoir un problème avec ma commande elle devait arriver le 10 juillet mais toujours rien et hobby king ne fais rien pour retrouver mon colis à part nous dire d'attendre de contacter la douane et notre poste locale il ne savent rien dire d'autre .j'ai déja commander chez eux sans problème mais la au secours je crois que je vais faire une croix sur mon colis L.P

Does anyone else think, hmmmm, considering that two Malaysian airliners have either disappeared or been shot down? Is someone messing with Malaysia for some nefarious purpose?

Well, my packages were delivered today. These are from May 28 and June 2, 2014. I don't know where they have been, but someone does and they are not telling anyone what's going on. So, I will have to tell you just like HK has been telling me for 3 months now. Just wait a little longer and maybe it will arrive.

Daniel - they were sent by Surface Mail. It has been said enough times, and confirmed by PosMalaysia. They were too idle to check parcels for dangerous items and simply took the easy way out and sent them all on container ships, courtesy of Singapore Post.
If people bothered to read replies here, and on the HK forums and on RC Groups, they would know this.
I still have two orders from May 22 and May 23 that actually show as 'Transferred to Singapore Surface' and then 'sent to UK Tilbury' and Tilbury is a UK container ship port. However, that was almost a month ago now and no further updatws.

I'm waiting an order from Malaysia since June 30th. On the Malaysian post office only says "Sent to Singapore Surface", I'm in Spain..... No satisfactory answers from hobbyking. I do agree with you that was a bad idea to buy here.

IT FINALLY ARRIVED!!!
Ordered items on 5/16/14 and they arrived today 8/29/14.
I thought for sure they were at the bottom of the ocean in a sunken container.
Glad I wasn't holding my breath.
I think they are finally rolling in people, don't loose hope just yet.
