You are lucky - I am still waiting for two orders sent on 22 and 23 May ... Chances are yours are being sent Surface Mail as mine are. Somewhere on a ship on an ocean!

FollowSTILL waiting on package shipped June 24
Can someone PLEASE investigate the status of order 2009503056, tracking # RC007462095MY? It supposedly shipped from Malaysia on June 24th and showed a status of "posted over the counter" (whatever that means) on July 2nd. The USPS's tracking info still gives a status of "origin post is preparing shipment." I am seriously considering never ordering from Hobby King again. This is ridiculous.

I am in the same position Elizabeth, I've been waiting on an order since June and I totally agree with closing remarks.
I had a similar problem... placed an order in May... HK shipped it May 17 to my address in Canada. Today (Aug 14) if finally arrived. I still wait for another order shipped June 16 Express Post... both shipped through Malaysia.
I don't blame Hobby King as they did ship my orders. I have asked them if there is a way to NOT ship via Malaysia but have not heard from them on this. Perhaps they don't have a say where it ships from... I don't know.
Have had two other orders after these that went through Singapore and got them long ago.
I hope it doesn't take 3 months to get your package.

same boat here? order on may 29th its now 8/14/14 but its my fault not HK cuz I had 6 orders since then, went with swiss post got each of them with in 10 days just don't buy lipo's over their order @ HK USA.good luck 2 all ya'
this site blows u cant even talk to somebody, i think they do that on purpose.
I DO hold HK responsible. Clearly there is a major issue with sending packages via Malaysia and HK must be aware of this by now. If they want to keep their customers, they need to find a way to NOT send anything through Malaysia. They also need to provide a way of contacting them when things like this happen. I have experienced some very slow shipping from HK in the past (seems that's their MO), but this is just unacceptable.
Dear Elizabeth, I completely sympathize and agree with you. I have the same issue, my order was placed on June 03 and shipped on June 06 still not delivered as of today. I have placed numerous orders with HK and never had to wait this long, they usually come sooner or later. You are right, HK's responsibility for your or my order does not end after it leaves their door, we paid good money for them to ship our orders to us, they supply us supposed viable confirmed options for shipping posted as part of our order on their site, and we should be able to trust in them for the receipt of our PAID in advance orders sent by PAID in advance shipping offered by HK through different carriers, regardless of the amount charged. Remember HK supplies the shipping options, if they aren't reliable then DON"T offer them. After all their primary responsibility is to us the customer. Without us they have no business.
I must be on the same slow boat as you as my order also shipped june 24th. Last entry on tracking number july 04. Normally receive my orders in about 21 days fairly consistently but we are now at 51 days. absolutely pathetic, they obviously save money shipping through Malaysia. It's all about the money not customer service.
Same thing here. Ordered June 24, processed June 26, shipped July 05. Until now, still waiting... no package. Checked USPS "Origin post is preparing shipment" status for a over a month now. Last 2 letters of tracking is the same as yours (MY).
All trackings like RC_____MY are having troubles with Malaysia Post and Hobbyking doesn't do much...
My order left on may 25th and there's no evidence that it will arrive soon.
First thing we can do: STOP ORDERING at HK until they fix this issue with MY Post
Second: since we are 30 people, if we act together they can't ignore us (as long as they want to lose 30 customers at a time!)
Who is interested can write me (english please!)
erisversini @ yahoo . It
Im in the same boat here, or not as the case is( Rc Boat missing). The service is now getting to the point of shocking, Hobbyking is taking our monies and not getting the goods to us, Royal mail say they delivered the goods, but i was not in and i have apperently signed for it?????? How i ask no explanation. I am going to contact my credit card company and ask to have the charges refunded. I would never recommend Hobbyking .
THIS IS NORMAL.
I have two packages gone MIA from Malaysia since June.
After 45 days they should give us an immediate refund. I. After 23 orders I think I'm going to stop ordering from HK and shop locally. Customer service is bad!!!!
Still waiting for mine, purchased mid june. i believe this problem primarily has to do with shipments from Malaysia. i have received shipments from Hong Kong within three weeks, and that is quite reasonable. Elizabeth mine was shipped the same date as yours from Malaysia.
I will probably not order anything else from HK except where it's in stock in US warehouse, otherwise this is the worst business practice i have ever seen or been involved with. So much for Eastern honor - it's a myth!
The problem was with PosMalaysia. I have two orders still outstanding from May 22 & 23. PosMalaysia got caught sending prohibited items by Airmail - and thus a HUGE backlog happened when they had to check each parcel for said type of goods. This not only affected HobbyKing orders, but ALL orders from ALL sellers that used PosMalaysia Airmail.
This happened from approx mid-May until the last week of June.
To add insult to injury, they then dumped all of the whole mess onto Singapore Post Surface Mail - so everything from then is onboard container ships. They informed NO-ONE they had done this until it was way too late.
However, orders I placed after mid July that were sent via PosMalaysia have all arrived withing two weeks (to the UK) so the issue is corrected for later orders. Unfortunately, that is of no help to those with orders on boats - such as me!
Well that is perfect then. IT sounds like it will cause the delay to continue for at lest another 30 days and I will insist on a refund and then HK can deal with it. And why is it that I am finding this out here?
HK must have been well aware of this for some time and I have questioned the delivery issue twice now and they have not been up front about what the problem is and what to expect. If they had then a person might reorder items that were time sensitive/important enough and end up in the long run with an extra or two.
But oh no, they would rather treat us like mushrooms in the dark being fed crap. For certain there is no honor in their company, they are an unfortunate thing and have my sympathy.
Karma is coming...
Agree with you on that Bill. Problem is, HK did have mention of it on this very support site Announcements section before it was very recently 're-furbished' and most of the relevant posts vanished.
HK support is run by a really useless outfit in the Phillipines who are not actually HK employes - but 'generic' CS staff that one minute can be speaking with us about HK issues, and the next to someone with a broken Microwave oven they bought from another seller that uses the same crap CS outfit. They are as much use fixing anything but the most basic order problems before they are despatched as a chocolate fireguard.
Even the dedicated US CS with its 'special' phone number for US customers is useless it seems.
When I grilled PosMalaysia about my missing orders, they finally admitted they were finally sent from KualaLumpur by surface mail on 29 Jun (HK actually despatched them on 23 May) and thay could take 16 WEEKS to arrive in the UK. That makes it end of October to early November by the time they will be in my hands!!! Just as well as I have had refunds via PayPal. Needless to say, the money to pay for them when they arrive is now burning a hole in my wallet, and I have already re-ordered the same items and received them a fortnight ago (by PosMalaysia again!)
They may have posted it on this site before it was 'cleaned off' but they failed to tell me on two separate occasions when I was grilling them live about itand I don't give a shit if they use timbucktoo for service reps they are then agents of the company. Obviously they don't give a shit, good to know, the playing field is now level.
"... as I have had refunds via PayPal. Needless to say, the money to pay for them when they arrive..." you can believe when the order does arrive after I have received a refund that it is very likely I will not accept it, it's time has expired and I am not obliged.
Cheers
I don't think the Live CS 'can' give a shit - they simply have no way to do anything. The problem is the powers that be at HK seem to be living the life pi33sing about on tw4tter and FaceAche, making videos, flying, driving and sailing stuff etc. that is bugger all to do with what should be a serious side to the business, and are not bothered in the least about customer problems. Just think of the additional money that would be rolling in if the efficiency went up! But hell no! It is making a mint already!
Hi Elizabeth my order must be on that same boat it must be dead in the water its taken soo long the order is now totally useless to me a waste of $50.
I have the same problem, but no reponse ...
Order:2009632695
for:$202.68 ...
Statut:Shipped
I am seriously considering never ordering from Hobby King again. This is ridiculous.
When I requested status of my order this is what was sent.
"Your order 2009638283 has been posted on 16/07/2014 with the tracking number RC009881041MY via (International (Registered) Air Mail with 14 to 398 business days transit time which you may track at http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/service/sub_meltrack.asp. The estimated time of arrival of your parcel is until September 09, 2014. Please not to worry, your parcel still in transit."
Malaysia said it was "07 Aug 2014 1645 Item sent to FOREIGN CENTER JERSEY CITY NJ 099" but it has yet to arrive there.
Same with me Elizabeth. My order was shipped 24 May... the answer I received (and until today it has not yet been delivered) was:
"Dear South African Customers
We take no responsibility for parcels sent to South Africa. No parcel replacement offered for customers in South Africa.
Proceeding to payment indicates you accept these conditions."
The fact is that this parcel never passed thru the first stop at Malaysia... apparently it is now sent back to Singapore, the country of origin. They might as well say "thanks for your money but unfortunately we will not be shipping the order".
Ockie - what is the tracking for your order?
Order RC006708645MY
Ockie - your order, like my two - have been sent to Singapore and transferred onto Surface Mail.
The dates agree with the info I received from PosMalaysia concerning the period of backlogged parcels they never bothered to check for prohibited items for Air transport.
Mine were sent to Singapore on 29 Jun, and both showed as of 08 Jul as 'sent to UK/Tilbury' - and that is a UK container ship port.
Very slow - potentially up to 16 weeks according to PosMalaysia.
Hi RA, how is it you find out that kind of information about your order?? I have asked them twice now and the best I've been able to manage is a "...will start an investigation..." non answer nonsense.
On another note, anyone interested in a class action suit?
Bill ... Perseverance is how I got to know. Not at HK - waste of time there - but from PosMalaysia during early July. Where there is a will, there is a way, as always.
As for a 'class action' suit against a Chinese company ... Good luck on that one!

hhhhmmmmm :)
Find a US Lawyer and ask ... And watch the raised eyebrow ... And the laughter as they show you the door ... Chinese (HongKong samey same nowadays) company registered in HongKong with no shares or any 'administrative' presecence in the US ... Erm ... I think it may well have been attempted before ... China would likely laugh too!!!
If HK had a registered prescence, or traded on the US Stock Markets - go for it.
