Hobby King just committed marketing suicide. Every RC website in the world is cheering the new Hobby King Gravesite, er I mean website.

I fully agree. Waste of time to find anything. What is a good alternative? I have stuff to buy and don't want to waste more time!!!

Look for alternatives. If you are in America, you don't need HK at all - you have more on-line RC shops than you need.
Otherwise try Banggood. Some choice of RC planes. Good choice of drones. Great choice of all sort of spare parts and electronics.
And leave HK alone, let them screw themselves.
Take a look at the "news" at the HK main page. Does it look like they care about you?
They are full of smug of their achievements with the NEW system.

Everybody thinks the same about this disaster.
I just had a very long coversation with live support of Hobby King.
The seem to know about the problem and assured me to tell everybody they are working on it, europian warehouse will be open again with also stock...let us see if that will happen.
But it is strange that there are no items on stock in europe, i tried many many items.

I totally agree, you will lose a lot of customers to site's as Banggood for example, who have a nice website and excellent customer service!!! This new website should be something you should be ashamed of. Look like you want to get rid of your customers!!!!!

totally agree, have wasted nearly a week TRYING to purchase a battery, nothing appears in UK stock. Total kick in the teeth for the years of loyal customer purchases. HK remember.....YOU cant choose customer, but WE can choose retailer.

WEBSITE FAIL, FAIL, FAIL
HK was normally my one-stop website to get stuff. Why, oh why can't we sort items like we used to?! I can only buy from one of two warehouses (mostly my local one) so WHY! do I need to look at what they have in the USA etc.? It takes way too much time to find a specific item. Search function is hit and miss. Finding the correct battery is like ... well do I have all night? I'm looking elsewhere first, HK second, still spending as much, but now HK is maybe getting <25% of my monthly spend. Fix it please!

Not to mention that there are no discussions showing under the related tab! So now all products can be 5 stars and we would not know otherwise!!!

Big shame HK! No way to search a 4 cell batterie, no way to find europe warehouse products,.....
Would be better to close the shop and stay in good memory.

Yep, the new website is terrible and I was getting ready to spend a few hours shopping and drop a few dollars along the way. The lack of warehouse selection is a major deal breaker for me.

No warehouse filtering or selection. I can't see where anything is available until I put it into my cart. Then once I find an item that is in stock in an appropriate warehouse, I place my order only to find out that it is on backorder. The prices that are advertised in list seem to almost randomly change when I either open the individual item page or add it to my cart.

Up until this point I have found HobbyKing to be a reliable place to shop. If I wanted something in my grubby mits for the weekend, I could be sure that I could find what I wanted, confirm that it was in stock, place an order and it would be reliably delivered. Now it seems that the couple of orders that I have placed since the update have needed me to work with the live chat person/robot to try and negotiate the backend to see what was actually in stock, find alternatives, hold my tongue a certain way and roll a dice.

You had a good thing going HobbyKing. Now it is simply a pain in the ass. Perhaps I will check back in some time to see if you have unfcked it.

I ordered CyberMonday deals. And pending. Live chat says one of the items out_of_stock. And Site show it is in stock for the normal price.
I can not trust this site anymore So i Quit

Totally agree. HK say; it is to make it easier to order from different sites. i.e. you can order from the West Coast warehouse and order from Hong Kong. That might work for you guys the U.S., but when I attempted that; they say you cannot order from different W.H. Maybe us customers in OZ don't count.

came back hopefully to see if things had been corrected after so much criticism. after i enter my country as Australia, it shows the item i want as available in the US(west) warehouse with the price displayed in Euro. totally confused. shifting to banggood. anyone know bout how much time banggood take to ship to Aus on free shipping?

I rather shop by warehouse and see if the item is available like before the change and then buy it. Now items show in english and is not in local warehouse or back ordered and you have to click on each item. I thought it worked fine before, so I will go elsewhere.

I totally agree. Why can't we select a warehouse of our choice. I find it ridiculous that I have to go all the way to the checkout to find out my purchase has been picked from Hong Kong and in some cases it says I can't get it from that warehouse. The original website told me up front that the item I wanted wasn't available to me in Australia. Hobby King is touting that you can find anything you want on this new website. And that is probably true, whether you are allowed to purchase it or can afford the freight is entirely a different kettle of fish. What a balls-up. Hobby King management need to put their balls in the chopping bock for this ungodly mess.

According to lack of any changes/activities on the new website since its release, I would assume that HK is waiting for us to just get used to the new reality. Simple like that. Otherwise, if they were going to make any significant changes, surely there would be some announcement from HK to calm us down.
So, I guess this it - use it or lose it.
I am sure they'll fix battery search later on, though.
But I am not waiting for I don't know what. Luckily, I have some planes supply for another few years, still in the boxes. Parts - from eBay and Banggood.
What about you guys? Still have some hope for miracle left?
Alex.

No more filter by warehouse, says my suburb doesn't exist, defaults to another currency. Looks like ebay and banggood here I come.
I did spend over $1000 in the last 6 months, trying to buy friggen $3 set of props and I have to spend hours just trying to find a set in my local warehouse, then it won't accept my address...............

NOT HAPPY, ORDER CANCELLED.
