At the moment it is not possible to send mail and parcels to certain countries (see below). Countries around the world are taking measures due to the coronavirus that may affect logistical processes. Please find below the latest information per destination. In addition to delays in many destinations, some countries are updating their processes to minimise contact between deliverer and recipient during pick up and drop off. This can mean that they no longer request a signature for receipt, and the shipment is simply delivered. It also may be the case that routes into certain countries become unavailable. The overview provides information about which disruptions may affect international mail and parcel delivery. No delivery due to COVID-19 Route closed - mail and parcel delivery not possible - at this time we do not know when the situation changes nor can we tell you when routes reopen. 27-Mar-20   COVID-19 update 新型冠狀病毒更新 Spain In Spain specific regions are currently inaccesible for parcel deliveries. These include (Region/Postcodes); Padrón : 15282, 15900, 15910, 15911, 15912, 15914, 15915, 15916, 15917, 15920, 15928, 15980, 15981, 15982, 15983, 15984, 15985, 36640, 36645, 36646, 36647, 36649 Cáceres : 10900 Navalmoral de la Mata: 10374 La Bañeza: 24763 Parcels in transit will be buffered in Spain until these regions are reopened. Note: regular mail volumes other than parcels can still be delivered here. Expected delay: 7 - 14 days Italy Most of the previous postcode areas we communicated before are open again for delivering parcels. Unfortunately postcodes starting with 24xxx and 25xxx are not re-opened. We are not able to deliver parcels in these areas and items will be returned to sender and will not enter Italy. Parcels that are already in Italy will remain in the buffer until these regions are opened again. Note: regular mail volumes other than parcels can still be delivered here. March 20, 2020  General Corona Virus Service Disruption Update

Despite flight cancellations and border closures due to the new corona virus, PostNL is doing its best to ensure deliveries outside Europe. We do everything possible to keep routes open both inside and out of Europe. Cancelled flights are being replaced by alternative means of transport. Cargo flights or shipping by sea are implemented as needed. The following contains the latest update:  

 

Delayed Delivery: The following countries are added to the list as communicated in the previous International Service Alert - Armenia, Bahrain, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, and El Salvador

 

Closed Routes: The following countries are added to the list as communicated in the previous International Service Alert - Tunisia, Cayman Island, French Polynisia, Philippines, Ecuador, Maldives.

March 10, 2020  Syria NL Post route has been reopened. It is now possible to letter mail and parcels to Syria.  SOLVED
March 10, 2020 Italy Italian Postal Service informs us that delivery services have resumed in off-limits municipalities, with effect from March 5, 2020. However, to prevent the spread of the novel corona virus, extra measurements are taken in the whole country as from today. This will lead to longer transit times than usual for mail and e-commerce volume. All services to Italy remain open.
