New HobbyKing website is just a Total DISASTER

  • unable to filter lipo's, Electric motors, propellers...
  • the old site was great, than WHY to change if it is just to destroy the old working things ?
  • this site is now unpracticable, no way out to place an order quick and easy, everything is complicated, unefficient. I can't believe that such a thing can happend in a such a big business. After 3 or 4 clics, even a beginner can see that's something is going wrong.
  • I thought after 3 minutes that HobbyKing has broken the business and the content was the last remaining articles in stock...
  • So, PLEASE PLEASE GO NOW BACK to the older version that worked, say "thanks" to the developpers and project managers who destroyed the site. Next time ask somebody to check a beta version...
  • In aviation language, this disaster is called a "crash in controlled flight".

Sorry, but really nothing positive to say about these release...

This new website really a mess and very bad organize. It make me slow down in everyway from viewing to payment. Please take this advise and stop making your customers to choose another rc online stores!!!

Agreed, This new web site is a significant step backward for the user to experience and as you probably already know has negatively affected your sales.

In my initial two minutes I logged on fine. Then I attempted to view lipo batteries. The my first red flag was the lack search filtering or search at all Your old system worked well and fast. We have a saying in America..."If it is not broken, DON'T FIX IT!". Unfortunately the initial experiece will immediately send me to your competitors web site as I don't have time to waste figuring out your clunky new web site. Good Luck, I'll check back in 30 days...maybe. You guys are Idiots to launch this.

I totally agree, I set out to look for a nitro engine and just gave up , the old site wasn't great but this is worse, will shop elsewhere. ? global or Australia, what a mess.

This new website is bad.. not as detailed as before, cannot choose between international warehouse or etc. Shipping not available for Asia anymore? OMG... I have been buying things from HK so many times, now i can't even ship? Please go back to the OLD Version.

New web site does'nt work ! Motor finder it's completely useless.
In addition, PLEASE, don't try to translate in italian: almost all translations are funny but wrong .An example : "EROTICHE" in italian means "related to the sex" or "porno soft" .Why you put this word into Photgraphy and Action cams ?

I agree.
Servo search, Lipo search: don't work.
I've cancelled an order. One day after it was processed and shipped. WTF?
All of a sudden, all items were only available in US West warehouse, nowhere else.
No warehouse filters any more.
Confusing price tags.
Almost all of my former orders have disappeared.

Normally I don't use the ward "desaster" but this is one. For Hobby King because people cannot even buy what they are looking for, even if they wanted!
Some improvements: shopping cart is now saved longer as the session lasts.

Who is responsible and who is responsible for QA?

yes this site is CRAP! designed by some bunch of idiots who has no idea of what they are doing.!! well thats it for me , Good bye hobbyking...this is the beginning of the END. I go else ware banggood or ebay is where I'm gonna spend my money! When sales drop at HK ...Anthony may wonder why!!

New site is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!
Simply trying to find some 2S batteries, cannot filter by warehouse, some searches come up blank. Previous system worked ok. Very frustrating, will be going elsewhere if this keeps up.

The new webpage design is very frustrating!
I use to check the new item and new arrived item everyday (except weekend). Who border to filter the items by weight/price/name and so on? They are just new items. And now, which one is new item and which one is not so new item and so on?

Just discovered all my three recent orders are still under Processing even PayPal had already paid. Tried to file a feedback. After hitting the Submit button, it ask me to check and resubmit again. Goodness me!

I also agree, the website sucks. Went to buy a motor but can't find out if it is available in Australia. I buy a reasonable amount of stuff for my school but I won't be buying anything next year if the website remains the same. HK must be losing lots of money!

Ho fatto un'ordine con articoli che risultavano tutto OK in magazzino e dopo 10 giorni risulta ancora "processing" e nessuno al Customer Support Center sa darmi delle spiegazioni......
Se non cambiano questo sarà il mio ULTIMO ordine ad HOBBY KING, mi dispiace

How great is that, that you just make me finished a canceling of order due to new website. I am not the only person i guess there are maybe hundreds or thousands buyers doing it due to website delivery wrong information in stock. 1 buyer can be $10usd or $100usd worth of sales. Think about the amount when the website is serving so many countries around the world. Who came out of the idea doing this have alot of work to do in explaining.

Yes its true,
I used to always look at the New Arrivals page, now, noyjing seems tobe changing. If they add new stuff to the back end, then sorry, I am not going to scroll through old stuff to get to see the new stuff, lets face it, HK are doing us a favour by making it harder to buy stuff from them, - Thanks HK, you know whats best for me... PS. I am glad you don't have your dad doing any of those product video reviews anymore, I found him to be quite condescending.

I have to totally agree, this update is an unmitigated disaster.If I search for an item it will say "in stock" but here's the kicker....WHERE IS IT IN STOCK!. I shop from the UK warehouse and there is NO WAY I'm going to pay postage for an item from the US or international warehouse.If its not available in the UK, I'll either wait until its back in stock or get it from somewhere else.As of now as I cant tell where its coming from, I wont be buying from Hobbyking.
At the very least you need to put back in the option to search the warehouse of your choice.I can see why you changed the website, this way customers will click on the "buy" button and then you hope they will swallow the postage cost.
This redesign and update must have cost Hobbyking alot,in an effort to increase sales.........I think it will be doing the opposite. most people want to know the full cost up front before they make a decision to purchase,hiding the postage charge until the last moment is NOT the way to go. There are several items I wish to purchase from you but because I dont know where they are coming from and how much its going to cost in postage I've gone elsewhere.
Sorry Hobbyking, your a great organization but this new website is a nightmare!

I totally agree with all the comments I read about the bad design of this new site and its potential consequences for Hobbyking business future in such an environment !!!.
How is it possible to develop so bad application that didn’t fit with any user whish or requirement and that did decrease not only the easiness of previous user interface but also its speed?
If you want your business to survive my only advice is to fire people having decide that change and design this application.
I did spend a lot of time to try making a new order that generally took a few minutes and did not find any pleasure to surf on the site to see what’s new, what is restocked, etc…
Don’t forget that time is also money and shorter the life is; bigger time value is and so total cost of a hobby is the sum of the time spent to buy goods and the price of the goods themselves.
With this bad web site that oblige us to lose our time for simple things, Hobbyking is now more expensive than its competitors and … less attractive.
On my side I really prefer to dedicated my free time to my hobby rather to lose it to gain some euros and I will not buy anymore on HK site until its web site is back to at least its previous efficiency.
Sorry guys but you did a big mistake with this change

Totally agree with all these people. This needs sorting NOW, not in a matter of weeks/months, if you want to keep your place in the market. I will not be placing any more orders until it is sorted!

- Can not find older (all) orders. (not the last 6, ALL. with pictures)
- Can not filter for EU warehouse.
- Can not move products between wishlists.

This new site is a disaster. I'm a longtime customer, but now, if the matter can not be edited do not buy anything. The old site was ok, only it was missing, it was not the quantitative status of stocks. Today you but such lapses but can not afford one.
